Are you looking after your child's vision?
According to a recent poll, less than half of the parents questioned take their children for a yearly eye examination.
The survey questioned more than 1,000 parents of primary age children (five to 11).
Parents were also more likely to take their child to the doctor or to have their teeth checked.
About one in four (26%) parents said they are worried about their child's eye health, with nearly two-thirds (61%) confident that they could spot the warning signs of eye problems.
British Contact Lens Association conference
Following this year's excellent British Contact Lens Association conference in Manchester, we are delighted to offer our patients the new multifocal contact lens from Johnson and Johnson, Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia. Several patients have already been successfully fitted with these lenses and have been delighted with the range of vision that they give. No more glasses for reading over the top of your contact lenses, these lenses really do give a realistic solution to multifocal contact lenses.
